  1. Is he not an anti Rationalist ?

  2. I’m not sure what the term means or if he is one. But regardless, who cares? He’s an insightful talmid chakham and a great speaker. If he doesn’t appeal to you, don’t go. I’m sure many readers disagree with your evaluation.

  3. “Is he not an anti Rationalist ?”

see the chapter on segulos in his “Pathways of the Prophets”

  4. Shachar Ha'amim

Is he THE rosh yeshiva of Torah Vodaas now, or a R”Y?

  5. R’Y-O-Y,
My impression is that he is a semi-rationalist, mean9ing that he understands that he must toe the company line but he does indicate from time to time that there may be issues that are left unanswered.

  6. >Is he THE rosh yeshiva of Torah Vodaas now, or a R”Y?

“Rosh Yeshiva at” correctly implies that he is a ר”מ at that yeshiva.

  7. He has much of value to say and you will be surprised by it,at times.
