Rabbi Gil Student is the Editor of TorahMusings.com, a leading website on Orthodox Jewish scholarly subjects, and the Book Editor of the Orthodox Union’s Jewish Action magazine. He writes a popular column on issues of Jewish law and thought featured in newspapers and magazines, including The Jewish Link, The Jewish Echo and The Vues. In the past, he has served as the President of the small Jewish publisher Yashar Books and as the Managing Editor of OU Press. He has published five English books, the most recent titled Search Engine volume 2: Finding Meaning in Jewish Texts -- Jewish Leadership, and served as the American editor for Morasha Kehillat Yaakov: Essays in Honour of Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks.

  1. I looked at vol. 4 and it went to p. 50 and then skipped to p. 100. I didn’t check out any of the others. Would hate to start and then be left high and dry.

  2. I highly reccomend all of the volumes of Noroas HaRav in their entirety, which have all enhanced each of the Chagim and Yamim Noraim, depending on the subject matter of the respective volume. They are pure transcriptions of the shiurim, with excellent Mareh Mkomos and notes by R Schreiber, whose effort in producing these volumes proves that one need not have sat in RYBS’s shiur to produce a sefer that is a verbatim transcription of the same.

  3. Very nice – but this needs to rescanned so there won’t be missing pages

  4. The pages seem to just be out of order. Page 51-106 come right after page 150.
