Me-Just curious. Do you have a sense of why so many MO feel the need to post the details of their lives on Facebook and not see this as a contradiction to hatznea lalechet?


From a Pulpit Rabbi-I don’t think it has anything to do with MO. The social media world has become obsessed with over sharing and the Jewish community has simply gone along with it. Chassidim are equally as guilty from what I see

I agree. I just don’t think I have any impact on them and I’m wondering about the trends within our community and why we don’t seem to be able to withstand something that’s clearly against our core values

Annoying—the mehadrin teuda says, “shmita k’halacha,” implying non-mehadrin stores are shmita not halacha?
