  1. Re what the Mormons do I agree with Gil that it is none of our business to comment on other religions beliefs. They believe they are doing us a favor so what, we believe that it is as worthwhile as who wins a basketball game. Who cares what they do.

Concerning Rabbi Farbers and homosexuals, any indication that homosexual actions are permitted is ludicrous, but I would treat them the same way we do mechallel Shabbos. If they want to show up respectfully as friend sitting next to each other Ok, but would never celebrate ther status, the same way we don’t celebrate anyone’s chillul Shabbos. Would not refer to them as a couple in shul but would have no problem accepting them as members as two individual single memberships, if they behaved and schul and were willing to be treated as individuals.

    • I agree about Mormons.

Is “In modern times, we understand that homosexual attraction is not a lifestyle choice but a hardwired fact” agreed upon in 100% of situations?

      • My response is not dependent on whether or not homosexuality is hard wired. We assume chillul Shabbos is a lifestyle choice and yet allow them to get aliyot etc. I am maintaining both are issuing of the same magnitude neither permissible or accepted but treat violators. The same way
