This past motza’ei Shabbos, Zev Brenner hosted a debate about Open Orthodoxy between R. Shmuel Goldin and R. Asher Lopatin on his well-known radio show. This spirited discussion is definitely worth listening to. At the end, R. Avi Weiss joined for a brief talk with Zev.

Rabbi Gil Student is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of, a leading website on Orthodox Jewish scholarly subjects, and the Book Editor of the Orthodox Union’s Jewish Action magazine.
