Yikes. I’m not sure why that popped up on my radar. I didn’t look at the date.
What are the issues with using social media to help agunos? How is it different from the rallies etc. that ORA organizes?
ORA does it under rabbinic guidance. The issues could arise if done without rabbinic guidance.
1. “hebrew schools” should read “sunday school” (though the article points to other days of the week, including (reform) shabbat, called saturday).
2. the proper rabbinic guidance should apply to all forms of pressure used, not just “new technology”, which is really old tech in a new forum.
