I saw that you signed the letter. I found it intriguing that no YU roshei yeshiva signed it. Is there a protocol that is being followed? Are they under orders?
I don’t know much about it. I was too busy with work to get involved in the writing or collecting signatures, which all happened very quickly anyway. I don’t believe the YU roshei yeshiva were asked. Maybe because there was no time or it would it look like YU fighting its competition. I have no doubt that R. Hershel Schachter would sign if asked. There are more signatures now and maybe someone will ask R. Schachter and the other roshei yeshiva. http://orthodoxrabbis.wordpress.com
