  1. There is a Jewish Parenting Day?

  2. R’TI
Every day is Jewish Parenting Day!

  3. I recall R NI Oelbaum being asked whether Mother’s Day and Father’s Day were examples of Minhagei Shtus. R Oelbaum responded by noting that Kibud Av V’Em was a constant Mitzvah!

  4. And therefore setting aside one day is minhag shtus? Is that the conclusion?

  5. R’TI,
Yes but not because of the concept but imho because of the NIH (not invented here) nature.

  6. Another dreadfully lost opportunity by the local Rabbinic leadership. Pity. A full day on Jewish parenting and not a word about 35% single parenthood and divorced parenthood issues. Shhhh, perhaps it will all just quietly go away….
