  1. -The article on the codices is a few years old, but I’d like to know which “rival schools” the Damascus Codex represents. As far as I know, only Ben Asher is represented in actual manuscripts, with Ben Naftali possibly being a default name for “not Ben Asher.”

    -I commented on the caviar article that simply saying “sturgeon is not kosher” really oversimplifies what isn’t a clear question.

    -I actually just saw Dov Lipman today, in the Knesset cafeteria of all places. I think of the 120 Knesset members, he’s the one who’s simply the most excited to be there- he seems to participate in everything. Kol HaKavod to him.
